The space between them doesn't exist, or at least is undefined. And there's no way to distinguish the circumference of a circle from that of a rectangle or square from within the circumference.

IMO, which is always right, the universe is constantly expanding in four dimensions thus any give instant there could be a center of the universe. However, since it is most likely that the universe isn't changing at a constant rate in all dimensions that center would be constantly changing. Making it highly possible that this post makes sense.
