  • 46 - 47% for UMP in french legislatives

Une majorité écrasante - la gauche laminée par la droite! The right will hold between 383 and 501 out of the 577 seats in the french legislature. The left, who has held down France for the last 15 years will see how it is work that will get rid of the malaise, not more unemployment benefits.

I thought the Socialists had only ~150 seats in the outgoing legislature?

Other than that, no argument from me.

Well, every once in a while, you need to turn the country over to the right wing to let them thoroughly wreck the country and teach the moderates a lesson about what the right really is.
