  • Apple is tracking what you are doing.

    Well, not exactly but Apple is recording who bought what off of ITunes. Basically, the new DRM free crap quality songs ITunes is selling includes information about who originally buys them so if songs later show up on the internet then they know who to sue. It's just another reason to never buy anything from Apple.

      Non-issue, IIUC it's only in the tags, so it's trivially removable.

        Yet I guarantee people will release songs on the internet with their name still in the tags. A more devious move would be to put someone else's name in the tags.
        I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).
