You're on your own there. This stuff came across my desk when I was working as an academic administrator in the late 1990s. I have no idea whether the research is available on the internet, and I certainly haven't been schlepping it around the world with me for the last 7 years.

WTF? First of all, "desk survey"? Is there some actual, English-language phrase you're groping for, or do you just like to put random words together into phrases that have a private meaning, just for you? Second, there are lots of unthinkable things that psychopaths do, but compiling well-sourced studies while pretending to be business school professors and/or sociologists generally isn't part of the mix. For that matter, neither is building a CV. What's your point, exactly?

How can an employer expect a single parent to leave all their baggage at the door. Im sory but things happen that arent scheduled. KIds get sick, the house alarm goes off. I got fired from one job cause i was going through a divorce and missed day of work. On one hand i had vaction and geting punished for using it and on the other i was being threatned by the attorney general about my child support hearings. I asked them to help me sort out the support and he threatens to through me in jail cause my job wont let me off work.

By the way on topic i agree with them firing him for surfing porn, It is a shame for folks to use war experiences as an excuse to get away with what they want. Im all for if a person has a break and lunch break if the pcs are available folks shuold be able to use them on their hour to do more then read about company policies.

Yeah, but the second his female secretary walks into his cubicle on a lunch break and sees it, the company gets a $100 million work place enviroment suit for sexual harrasment.

I agree... we recently fired somebody who spent much of his day surfing porn sites.. He worked in a cube, and some of the woman would be able to see what he was doing. At least he didn't blame it on the war

Rule One: You can file suit for anything you want to.

Rule Two: It's part of the court process that unmeritorious claims are weeded out. I predict this case will have the lifespan of the fruitfly in a hurricane.

And also note that wasn't a court's decision.

An arbitrator decided, and the question the court was wrestling with was how much deference the arbitrator's decision was to be given.
