Yep... that's what really made Norm excellent.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Norm Maybe I just happened to see every episode where his jokes bombed and he wasn't funny, but yeah he was a real channel changer por moi.
I was raised on Quinn, whose material and delivery was more solid than Norm's, but in contrast to everyone else who's done it he's just kind of mediocre. Fey was good, but not good enough to hold it down herself. Miller was great, but Nealon was my main nego.
Nealon "In addition one plus one equals two." He really screwed around with the role like that.
Lysistrata: It comes down to this: Only we women can save Greece.
Kalonike: Only we women? Poor Greece!
I liked Nealon the best as well. I found him more consistantly funny. I only recall Miller form the Gulf War, and he was good, but none of his bits stand out for me.

"it is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong" Voltaire
"Patriotism is a pernecious, psychopathic form of idiocy" George Bernard Shaw
Miller never did anything amazing or particularly memorable, but he was consistent. Norm was miss and miss with an occasional hit (he was better as a regular cast member IMO).
