The trick isn't to break some eggs to make an omelette, it's convincing the eggs to break themselves in order to aspire to omelettehood.

Is that 'tick' the speed of your typing, or what?

Poly provoked me to study more into politics and history.

As well as improve my debating skills. At least in writing.
And trolling / pwning skills are important too, though I still have lots of place to grow.

Poly has improved my photoshop skillz, needed for pwnage pics.

Mostly though I come here to funpost and read the occasional interesting pekka.

Poly, in an odd sort of way, introduced me to online collaboration (with the List), which is a big part of how I now make my living.

Poly taught me that the Bible was a very silly book and that writing long posts about politics is a waste of time.

It took Poly to do that?

                              Unfortunately, yes.

In my defense I've been posting on poly since I was still in high school.

I've learned that you can sweat blood over writing original comedy and trying to come up with genuinely new ways to amuse people- but what you bastards swear is the funniest thing ever is any old crap that namechecks you.
