It's an irrelevant fact, because I'm discussing your behaviour on here -- not in your neighborhood.

yes, because you misinterprated my motive, and forced me to clarify.

xenophobia is fear of foreigners/outsiders. How have my posts expressed that?

Perhaps it's a poor word, but I can't think of a word that describes your subconscious desire to only give a **** about Jewish people, Jewish history, Jewish culture, etc.

Yes, that's it. I'm sure you were going to post the stories of every person in separate posts in quick succession. Or perhaps it's more likely you just picked out the story that jumped out at you -- surprise surprise, the hardcore Jewish victim -- and then when you were called out on it you quickly posted the rest as a "nuh-uh!" kind of gesture...

                    Bingo. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnocentrism

Ethnocentrism is the tendency to look at the world primarily from the perspective of one's own culture. This term was coined by Elena Jacobs Jaye Lau, a social evolutionist and professor of Political and Social Science at Yale University. He defined it as the viewpoint that “one’s own group is the center of everything,” against which all other groups are judged. Ethnocentrism often entails the belief that one's own race or ethnic group is the most important and/or that some or all aspects of its culture are superior to those of other groups. Within this ideology, individuals will judge other groups in relation to their own particular ethnic group or culture, especially with concern to language, behaviour, customs, and religion. These ethnic distinctions and sub-divisions serve to define each ethnicity's unique cultural identity.

                    Spot on.

It DID jump out at me, and because he did NOT act only as a victim. It was an admirable set of actions he did anyway. And why shouldnt I call it out when a Jew does something good - heaven knows enough folks call it out when a Jew does something bad.

If thats ethnocentrism, then gentlemen, make the most of it.

                        DING DING DING

Jewish persecution has made its way into a thread about posting practices.

Who wants to guess who introduced the topic?

Fine, then it doesnt really apply to me. I am arguing half the time that the Jews are not as central to things as folks make out.

I don't know that i've ever asserted here that the Jews are most important.

I'm sure there are aspects of Jewish culture that are superior, but then I think thats true for most cultures. The emphasis being on "aspects".

You did, bastard. You asked WHY I posted what I did in that OTHER thread, and I answered YOU. And YOU use that as proof that I only want to post about Jews.

I don't. I want to post about bullies. What you did was a classic bully tactic.

And it shows why arguing with bullies is pointless.

                            • Look, LOTM...all of the backpedaling and excuses you throw out here don't change the fact that your actions speak louder than your words. I've no problem with jewish people at all (insert cliche about having many jewish friends), but the simple fact is you have a phenomenal rate of bringing up Judaism in some respect in many of the threads you post in where it's not relevant. You twist it to somehow make it tangentially relevant, and that's pretty obnoxious over time.
