In 1994 the Leafs gutted their heart (Wendel Clark, the rabbit; remember that rabbits never win anything) to find Sundin (their idol).
Sundin turned many of the bugs the Leafs surrounded him with into gems. They would even kill off (trade) good assets to get more bugs for Sundin to turn into gems.
Sundin was a good idol. He even provided glimpses of a championship (the crown). However, in the end he is proving to be false. The tiger of age is catching him and he too will go off as a rabbit who never won anything.
When he is gone all of the gems (and the dreams of Leafs fans) will turn into maggots to consume the flesh off their bones. Toronto will truely be a dead franchise.
It's really very simple.(\__/)
