I only have one person that listed me as a friend...And she doesn't come here anymore.
I'm lonely.

having friends on facebook allows you to see their profile and stalk them! if you were in the apolyton group, you would have gotten a friend request from me.
Dammit facebook, let me look at profiles in the Apolyton Group without having to friend them. Facebook stalking is one of the few activities I can do while pretending to study in the library.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.

So if I want to meet ladies, should I use Myspace or Facebook? I heard that Facebook was more useful for professional purposes.
Myspace: Good for meeting ladies with "a live webcam and nude pictures at my site here, teehee!" and the occasional pre-teen emo-ette, if you can see past their blinding font size, flashing icons, and mega-distracting backgrounds. Jeff K is more mature (and designs better webpages) than 98% of the people you could meet on Myspace.
Facebook: Not good for meeting anyone, because you have to clear the 'friend' hurdle first before anything else! I use Facebook for messaging some close friends, mostly. At best, Facebook helps me keep 'in touch' with distant acquaintances, if infrequent profile reviews and wall posts are 'in touch'.
If you want to meet ladies, you have to get out in the real world, man. Other posters here can share their own success stories if they have any, but I don't think that using a social networking site for dating will work for the majority of people.

I used to think that trying to meet women online was pathetic. But these websites do work, up to a certain extent. Its just another way to meet ladies.
