Spector Says He's Too Short To Have Shot Clarkson
Music Producer's Home Video Reveals Theory

LOS ANGELES -- Phil Spector said in a home video that actress Lana Clarkson was standing when a gun was fired in her mouth and he is too short to have done it.

The 2005 video aired by the television program "Inside Edition" also shows Spector offering $100,000 to unnamed women to take a lie detector test. The women have claimed Spector threatened them with guns.

The famed music producer is on trial for Clarkson's murder. She was found shot through the mouth in the foyer of his southern California home in 2003.

On the tape, Spector claimed that Clarkson, whom he referred to as "the deceased," was 5-foot-11, and would have been 6-foot-2 with her heels on. He then said that he was 5-foot-5 and that it would have been "physically impossible for me to have administered the death wound to her in any shape, way or form."

Spector's chauffeur, Anthony De Souza, who was waiting outside the house, has testified Tuesday and Wednesday that he heard a "pow" sound and then Spector emerged with a gun in hand and said, "I think I killed somebody."

Defense attorneys questioned how well De Souza, who is a Brazilian immigrant, understood Spector. De Souza told prosecutors he clearly understood what Spector said.

The defense also claims that Clarkson killed herself, which Spector suggests in the tape.

one of the things that i think would improve this site is to eliminate by any means necessary daniel quick and the entire administration including grandpa troll and solver and , who is the other fella , locutus, and replace them with one person, preferably asher or i guess ming, since he seems to have some sort of clue. next step is to fix the interface and stop covering only nerdy games.
