Wonder if they would mind changing my card. Yeah see I like three, my thoughts on this is it's sorta retro cooking everything from scratch using receipes handed down from my family and from the 60's as well as I live in Austin and it's a funky sort of town. You have to have something citchy to succeed here and that just might do it. Love 3.

Well, if you're going to have an ongoing business, it makes sense to be consistent with your logo. Matching your biz cards makes sense. It gives folks a good visual cue to help them remember you're you. It's a branding thing. Not essential -- companies change their logos all the time -- but a good idea.

Here are the specific fonts you've mentioned liking:

      3. Curlz MT (bold)
      4. Brush Script MT
      5. Lucinda Calligraphy

If you have these fonts, it should be easy to follow directions above and make the graphic yourself. If not, and you want them saved as GIFs or whatever, tell me the width you need to fit the site (inches or pixels) and I'll save/post.

Cool, here's #3 (Curlz MT font, bold) saved as an 800 pixel-wide GIF file.
        That's 2 and 2/3 inches wide.

I'll post it as a .doc next so you can play with it if need be.

Thanks. I seem to be saying that alot tonight. Making pies right now and checking in every once and a while. Business card is all in script it was actually lucinda handwriting that I used. I went to kinko's and used there microsoft.

But I'm still liking three but in terms of being an old fashioned pie company....

          My slogan is

Old fashioned pies & goodies just like Grandma's ....maybe even better!

So if your trying to go for the old fashioned thing I guess the script would be better, I just really like #3.

Here's the .doc (MS Word) file.

            Font: Curlz MT (bolded)
            Size: 24 point

That's all I have time for tonight. Hope it helps.
            Good luck tomorrow!

Since you're just starting out, I suggest going with what you like. The business cards can be fixed on the next go-round. Not a big deal.

Tiamat, as for uploading your webpage; if you're as bad with computers as you say you are, you're going to have to get someone to help you with it, it's easily explained but not easy to understand.

The first question is: Do you have webspace?

P.S. it's quite pathetic the lengths men will go to help women out.

I'll take a raincheck. I love pie!!! Mmmm, pie....

There's a trade show in Austin this July (NAMM) I may attend. And I love getting a jump on spring by going to SXSW, but haven't gone for several years now.

I love Austin -- great music scene, cheap golf, awesome BBQ.

Man just when I was starting to like you SXSW is already over for this year but your in luck cause I got the hook up for bands and music here. Let me know if you come to Austin and I"ll make you a pie and some cookies and get you into some good shows. I have a couple of muscian friends here.

If it's not to much trouble, I have one more tinsy winsy question. When we transfered the writing to the main image it went through like I wanted but the background was white. Steve found a way in paint to color the background and we found one we liked made a file did al the do da stuff you and Locutus told us to but the background color didn't go. it's still white. Any way to fix that?
