        That's what they say, but again, after that, Ashcroft stopped taking public flights because he considered the threat of a hijacking so high. If it was too dangerous for him to fly, why didn't they put marshals on the plane?

        I ain't sayin' they knew exactly what was gonna happen, but they knew something really bad was going to happen, and for the most part they turned a blind eye.

        Do you know what Ashcroft was going to announce that day? A new war on pornography. He's too scared to fly in a plane for fear it might be hijacked, but his policy agenda is to make sure we aren't rubbing ourselves the right way.

            My view is that the Republicans are interested in pushing their agenda, not stopping terrorism. That's why I laugh at the idea of TWOT and don't think Bush really cared if there was a terrorist attack on that day and still doesn't. In fact, he probably wishes one would happen today.
