  • Bush Had Prior Knowledge of 9/11, Sez 35% of Dems

Okay, I dont believe that stat but this is what Bill O'Reilly was trumpeting on his show tonight, 35% of Democrats believe Bush knew 9/11 was going to happen. The poll or study also claimed 15% of Repub voters are onboard with the Dems but O'Reilly didn't mention them. O'Reilly used this stat to warn us that the Democrats have far too many loons and cant be trusted, ironically Bill would soon repeat his "Bush didn't lie" line of BS claiming Tenet cleared Bush of all charges of deceit regarding Iraq.

Bill's target? George Soros... I guess this Soros guy is funding left wing activists and propagandists and Bill doesn't like that. Media Matters being one group O'Reilly has repeatedly complained about...

    Well, they are morons.

The other 65% probably refused to answer anything involving the name "Bush".

Media Matters had squashed ridiculous BillO's attacks over and over and he just can't stand it. Media Matters utilizes this thing called "fact-checking" against multiple sources. BillO can't comprehend this "fact-checking" so he does the only thing he knows how: Throwing feces.

And a bunch of other yobs think Saddam was behind 9/11, many from the Republican party. People are often stupid, and attribute things like 9/11 to people they don't like. It's just not a particularly interesting statistic.

Actually I saw this poll. It was from a respectable outfit (Rasmussen).

The logical fallacy Papa Bear makes is that he conflates conspiratorial involvement in 9/11 with the failure to do anything about what looked like an imminent terrorist attack (i.e. the August 6 PDB - "Bin Laden determined to strike in US"). The latter is probably a stretch, but it's by no means equivalent to the former.

I think about 1/2 of Bill's ratings must come from people who dislike him for some reason but can't shake the magnetic attraction he has over them. Is that the case with you, Berz?

I'm thinking that is definately the case with Berz. He obsesses over O'Reilly.

Not only do I believe that Bush didn't have prior knowledge of 9-11, I think that he still doesn't really know what's happened. He just reads what they put in front of him.

Not plausible. I'd be willing to bet the only thing Bush reads is the back of a cereal box over his morning breakfast.

But I see his eyes moving during the speeches he gives on TV! Although, he could just be like that crazy guy with the eyes that move back and forth. You know the actor I am thinking of? I don't know his name... the crazy eye mover guy...
