All Moderators decisions are final. Our moderators are all unpaid volunteers who are looking out for the best interests of our members. We want to help each and every member get the best experience possible on our board, but there will always be individuals who choose to break the rules and be banned. THERE IS NO PUBLIC DISCUSSION ON THIS. If you have a problem with a decision a moderator makes, please PM (private message) them and discuss with them the issue. We can address is there if possible, but starting threads about it is not allowed. These threads will be closed or deleted. Making off topic posts in a thread questioning a mods decision is also a bannable offense
If only Ming had this rule..

Trolling (posting bull****, nonsense, or attention getting threads) with false accounts, with the intention of disrupting this forum, causing harm, or aggravation of the members or the mods will get you banned. If you continue to reregister accounts, we will report you to your ISP for abuse & violation of their terms of service and have your account canceled.

All Moderators decisions are expressions of anger and despair. Our moderators are all unpaid volunteers who are looking out for the best way to powertrip and feed their egos. We want to help each and every member get the most boring experience possible on our board, but there will always be individuals who choose to not like our powertripping and be banned. THERE IS NO PUBLIC EXECUTION FOR THIS. If you have a problem with a decision a moderator makes, please PM (Punch-out the Motherfookers) and then discuss with them the issue. We can nag about it, but starting threads about it will result in more powertripping. These threads will be closed or deleted after we nag some more about it. Making off topic posts in a thread questioning a mods decision is also a banana republic offense
I occasionally have a look through an off-topic forum here and there on various gamesites and find the above to be too true. The moderators on the civfanatics site are quite bad at powertripping.
Here is an interesting scenario to check out. The Vietnam war is cool.

If so, I think I know the reason why.

I've came across a certain gay forum and started posting there, mostly because there was religion forum and I found pro-islam propaganda by a certain poster, as well as criticisement of it by others, worth correcting.
For example, an ultra-christian gay American claimed that muslims are either liars or imposters, because they claim Jesus was their prophet and not Son of God, while he himself claimed to be Son of God in NT.
Apart from explaining to him that from muslim point of view NT is flawed etc, I've said that he can't tell muslims are liars or ignorant, because they only claim what Koran claims, what Muhammad claimed, so it would be logically correct to claim he's a liar or whatever, not them.
Mr gay christian fundamentalist agreed with me.
But mr gay muslim fundamentalist was enraged.
It didn't help when I clarified my opinion, that anyone who claims to be a prophet can be
                  1) right and aware to be right (a prophet)
                  2) right and unaware to be right (a strange position, but possible in various situations)
                  3) wrong and aware to be wrong (an imposter)
                  4) wrong and unaware to be wrong (a delusioned person or whatever)
Mr gay muslim fundamentalist claimed I'd never write such a thing about Jesus, to which I replied I would.
Muslims accept possibility 1 when it comes to Muhammad. Christians can accept possibility 3 or 4, and, to some degree, 2 (that he preached monotheism etc, but he was not a prophet, just happened to be right in certain questions).
The muslim fundamentalist guy is much beloved in this forum, because he claims to be a linguist, an Arab (many gays have Arab fetish it seems), a poetic person. I myself am not even sure if he speeks arabic at all, what he once wrote was hardly arabic sounding for me - don't get me wrong, it didn't look like a dialect either. I think he is just a guy who wants to pose for what he claims to be for attention.

Anyway, he started making a great fuss out of that "muslims are being attacked" in my posts and others, and I got kind of a punishment for a certain post. This post was that I wrote that Muhammad was illiterate, which the mod found offensive to him. But I've proven to him that I was wrong, and that in fact muslims themselves claim he was illitarate, so my punishment was cancelled, and I was apologised by the mod

In most German forums, old posters maintain a very strong superiority in interpreting behaviour of people and in establishing what's right and wrong. This makes it hard for newbies with opposing interests to arrive unless they come with the will to fight through their points.

At Apolyton people are so indifferent about values that a newb could come up with any idea without being mobbed out of the place. People here do the DL dance all the time which already is too much for some odd middle aged people from Denmark or the Netherlands, but it's nothing against the German mobbing tendency.

                    Discuss.

All I admitted was that German internet rules are different, which in itself is open to interpretation.

Quite telling you'd cheer at any negative notion about the German people.
