                  Yeah, it is an enclosed space. If you annoyed one of the other passengers I am sure they would've given you a smack in the face

                        I would guess that it is actually changes in pressure brought on by changes in altitude that lead to capilliary rupture.

                        THough I think it's more interesting that it's the only one I've ever had.
