I'm not going to argue that too many Democratic representatives are NOT politically motivated to serve out these subpeonas.
But isn't it the case that sometimes, when something is done for an ulterior motive, it's still the right thing to do when the end result is for the greater good?
Republicans had their fair share of serving out subpeonas during the Clinton era, when they controlled the House and Senate.
