Taiwan is an island that is currently administered by the Republic of China.
The Republic of China is a free capitalist democracy in Asia.
The capital city of the Republic is Nanjing, which is presently occupied by communist insurgents.
Right now, the Republic is administered from the city of Taipei.
The President of the Republic of China is Chen Shui-Bian. He won by 0.22% over his opponent.
