I signed up for medical experiments a while back, and I was on a first preliminary test today. Tomorrow I'll talk to the doctor to see if I'm fit to participate in the study. If I am I will return next week and test the medicine (some cure for Parkinsons they hope) while being monitored with EKG and blood and urine samples. The study takes around three days (included a few short pre- and post-checkups) and they pay me $1000 for the trouble! Easy money

i told them NO WAY!
ive had allergic and near fatal reactions to meds before...
i HATE pills anyways...
they can KEEP their money...

Gibsie, yeah. I'll stay at the institute for two nights and a day. Then it's just two checkups after that...

These places are usually kind enough to provide you with lots of entertainment (i.e. internet, DVD's, video games, nurses etc.) so you better keep posting (Be careful with confidentiality though- no, "argh, my eyeballs!" posts ).

The only thing you have to worry about is that (In England at least) most people doing the trials will be Australian or South African surfer dudes with bodies that will put your to shame when they're on display
