    From the description of the incident in the OP, it would seem that the police officer in question was way, way, way out of line. To the extent that the description of the event is true, I hope he ends up not only fired, but does some time.

    At least the Sikh has some support in this.

          Where did you copy this from, democraticunderground.com?

          Our only sources for the story are (a) the guy arrested and his wife; (b) SALDEF. Until we'll get the officer's and the police station's side of the story (preferably reported by a credible newspaper instead of an obscure political special interest group), this thread only serves as a mental masturbation exercise for you.

          Stop being a full-time political tool and continue living your life.

              It this story is true the cop should go to prison. There is absolutely no reason to use a baton (clasified as deadly force btw) after peper spray. Worst experiance of my life.

              If I did that in the military I would go to jail.

                Agreed. The question remains, of course, whether or not the above is an accurate depiction of what occurred.
