I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead
If you criticize x without also criticizing y or z, you are a racist to x!
Examples, many, if you talk about problems in the muslim world in the XXI century, you also have to mention for example the inquisition or you are seen as anti muslim.
I prefer the preemptive you read, listen to, or have otherwise heard of this via source X therefor you teh suk.

I don't like it when .. when you make a comprehensive post, and you pre-empt lots of future arguments with it, then someone takes that ONE line and disagrees with it, and somehow that's at least a tie?
I'd say the lack of recognition, that is, if you make a good argument, it doesn't make it wrong or demolished just because someone says so.
I don't like when people trivialize things, and I don't like when they make some things way too complex when it's not necessary, of course which one is at hand is something I choose .

My favourite: "X is false, because [fallacious argument against Y]". Often used by fundies: "Species do not evolve from other species, because only God can create life from unlife".
I used to say I bring the truth, but that's I think much better. If I am the truth, well... debate over . Thanks, I have to start to use that.

The argument I hate the most, because it's subtle, is: when someone puts an issue very high to the agenda, thus making it look like it's the central issue.
It's a PITA when you're talking about a problem that has many causes and consequences: the other guy talks almost solely about his own pet cause, and only acknowledges the other causes so that he can't be called on that.
For example, you could imagine a poster talking at length about Blacks and crime, while posting one-word-hints that blackness isn't the only cause of crime.

Though I don't really like to debate. I just want people to listen and STFU.

I swear, these two come up in nearly every debate I've been in. Maybe everyone really does know that the US did Y. Am I out of the loop?
