I agree with Keith about modern rock acts. I blame it on Napster and file sharing. It is like the record industry isn't willing to take risks anymore and choose instead to focus on American Idol ****e.

The 50's has its own unique sound, as does the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's, but 00's are just a watered down extension of the 90's.

This is Keith Richards, I wouldn't put it past him. There is little evidence from the article posted that this wasn't true outside of the outrageousness of it. But again seeing as how this is Keith Richards, and the above quote assuring that this is genuine I see no evidence for a "0.0001% chance of being true".

I am relieved to see he has later admitted it is a joke. But yea, Richards is pretty warped so who knows what might sound like a good idea to a person while he is hyped up on heroin or cocaine or what have you.
