Not especially (i.e. compared to anything HBO creates). Henry's a petulant little **** who ought to be smacked around in every scene, not the renaissance man who brought England into the modern world. Maybe he really was like that, but in that case you need to center the story around characters that you actually do give a damn about; the working class perspectives from Vorenus and Pullo served that role nicely in Rome. Or at least some decent dialogue, which so far has been pretty vapid. Maybe the Tudors should've started with Henry VII, so they writers wouldn't have been so tempted to substitute nudity for an interesting story...
Another way in which the show is unrealistic...The women are hotter than those in Rome
