  • How did the Egyptians build the Great Pyramid?

    Here's an interesting new theory.

The secret of the construction of the pyramid of Khufu in Egypt has always held people in fascination. Numerous theories have been put forward but none has yetstood up to analysis.

Eight years ago, the architect Jean-Pierre Houdin had a flash of intuition and developed a revolutionary theory. Considering Khufu' monumental undertaking as the first industrial construction project in history, he turned to Dassault Systèmes technology to test his hypotheses and feed his thought processes. So it was that he joined the 'Passion for Innovation' programme.

Having demonstrated the validity of the theory with the aid of their scientific 3D solutions, Dassault Systèmes invite you to enjoy an extraordinary journey through time and space. Relive the Great Pyramid construction project in real-time 3D!

The pyramids themselves were built by free native egyptians using mastery of telekinesis skills handed down generation by generation through the greater respect the egyptians held for the wisdom of their ancestors.

Those martian 'slaves' were actually just desperate patients who would flock to egypt (from mars and other enlightened civilizations) to enjoy the fruits of superior egyptian holistic medicine.

The notion that they were slaves continues to be propagated by the big pharma companies and their disinformation agents intent on destroying the evidence of egyptian medical wisdom that might threaten their fat corporate profits and the vast medical monopolies that perpetuate them.

They chopped down lots of forests. See any forest around the pyramids? Now you know why.

They awarded a no-bid contract to Halliburton??

No, on second thought, if that had happened, it would have cost billions but would have never gotten built.

The Go'a'uld actually built the pyramids, which are landing pads for their motherships. Then they enslaved the Egyptians.

No, that's because of Monsanto's herbicides.

And I thought the history forum was supposed to be about highbrow stuff, in a pardon-me-do-you-have-some-grey-poupon-but-of-course way...

                  Silly me.

You failed to notice the , my friend

Us, even more serious than the French? I doubt it. But even if its true, that wouldn't be saying much. After all, the Brits and the Krauts are much more serious, the Krauts in particular.

I have the sudden urge to see that movie again.

Not true- I just thought you'd appreciate the picture. And you might remember the discussion they all had about the various '-isms' they had all been through...

More serious, but less arrogant. After all, you have a prime example of what trouble arrogant self-belief can bring in its wake, next door...

La Belle France, on the other hand, combines excessive seriousness with bouts of severe orgueil and a tendency to produce people such as Henri-Levy, Julia Kristeva and Valery Giscard d'Estaing.

Mais non! We're talking about the country that produced Benny Hill, Spitting Image and entered a 'rap' artist in the Eurovision Song Contest.

                        You jest, sir.

I watched it again yesterday. The actor who played Rene is very good indeed.

                        And the script is witty.
