I'm strongly considering the 22". <$300 for a 22" is a good deal. The 19" is <$200.

Newegg.com is the best place to get computer stuff, MUCH cheaper than best buy; BB's sale prices sometimes get down to newegg's price range, but unless it's on a killer sale you're paying extra and you don't get the customer reviews

I just looked around and didn't find that brand or monitor on any 'good' sites. I would stay far, far away from MAG.

Dell, i'm 50/50 about. Some horror stories, some good ones. I generally stay away

Viewsonic has a 3 year warranty (P+L included) and newegg.com has free shipping on it.

Also, one thing to consider. Going up from 19" to 20.1" goes up one level of resolution (from 1440x to 1680x). Might be worth it.

Hmm, I don't really watch dvds on my computer any more so I guess its not really a problem. It's mainly for gaming.

Hmm, apparently the viewsonic doesn't support HDCP either. "Vista Certified" doesn't mean all it is supposed to mean I guess... I may go with the Samsung 226bw (or 206bw depending on how poor I feel next week when I buy it).

Question (for Asher and other HDCP knowing people): How much do I care about HDCP? I don't have a HDDVD or Bluray player, but will most things be HDCP requiring in the next year or two?

HDDVD, Bluray, and Cablecard (if it ever makes it to the PC) will.
