Isn't Hull officially the worst place in the Universe?

That just simply is not true. It is unofficially as well

To be fair, there are far worse places. Ever been to Grimsby?

Exactly. Hence my getting him to go to London at the time I was living there - I have since seen the light...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

I was born near Dartford. Not quite as bad as Hull, but running it close in some respects.

Daahtfud. Makes one weep to think the Thames Barrier is designed to flood the area.

It just seems like he's been posting here 30 years.

Hehe, that would flood the entire site except the building I am working in which just narrowly escapes

As I said, there was never a future for living in Hull. Quite literally

I always liked the fact that Orpington High Street is an old river valley. Good drainage means that it will only flood as a 1 in 2,000 year event or something.

Well I will be popping to Hull at some point but it will be just to see the family and have a meal with them or something. The real festivities will be in London - although I have not decided what I am doing yet...

Hmmm...well perhaps I should start looking into it - after all I am going to have to sort something out soon as people need the notice to be able to attend. But still, no idea as to what I am going to do.

And I am going to have to have a big tour of the North West at some point - I have a lot of friends I need to catch up with in that area - strange that I have none around where I come from
