    are you sure that the maximum shouldn't be 8.000 BTU/h - that would make some kind of sense.
    With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

      In NA at least, the term "BTU" is used to represent two different concepts:

      1) Properly, it is a unit of energy equal to ~1055 J
      2) Colloquially, it can be used as an abbreviation for BTU/h (~0.293 W)

      The meaning is garnered from context.

      I agree with your sentiment, however.

          Well, the 10,500 BTU/h unit works fine electrically.

          The problem is the installation depends on "double hung windows", and mine is a large horizontally sliding window...

          Since I lack any and all tools, I'm going to have to call some guy to rig something.
