Capitol Police: Webb Aide Arrested With Handgun

WASHINGTON -- An aide to U.S. Sen. Jim Webb was arrested Monday after a handgun allegedly was found in his possession, authorities said.

Capitol Hill police said the aide was arrested during a security check upon entering the Russell Senate Office building. It is illegal to carry handguns in D.C.
Police said they are investigating. No other details are available.

The Russell Senate Office building is located across Constitution Avenue from the Capitol. Many congressmen have offices there.
In case Webb was asked to go hunting with Dick Cheney.

His aide was arrested, not the senator himself.

Only when going to vote in the chamber in which they serve.
