mackerel? ewwwwChristianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

the thing is...generally all food sold in Europe to the Russian ex-patriate community is actually made in Gemany. They simply just stick Russian labels to the can and jars so its would look like its Russian made. This might explain why.Que l’Univers n’est qu’un défaut dans la pureté de Non-être.

Your theory has a little flaw, though: no fish that can be found in Germany has teeth like that.

Hard to believe, Germany isn't really known for cheap labor, is it?
So why would someone transport stuff like that (which must be... well, should be fresh when canned) to Germany when it can be canned everywhere in Eastern Europe, and then slap a Russian label on it?
Source?

Nono in general if you walk to a Russian market anywhere its full of cans and jars from Germany! All the veggies, cheeses and sausages, they are all made in Germany. They do this because its more cheap and perhaps better quality than in Russia....people trust the Westrern products. They just simply glue the label with a Russian kulak on it and sell it to the Russians.Originally posted by ElTigre

I believe the picture in the OP explains laurentius' observation that Russians prefer western canned foods to Russian canned foods. I can't say I blame them.
