                Not only does NYC violate 2nd amendment wrt individualist interpretations but clearly aluminum bats are likewise standard issues for an organized militia (teener leagues across the nation) so it likewise fails on a collectivist interpretation as well.

                OTOH its for minors so who gives a fig.

                  No, Ogie, it has nothing to do with being standard issue for a militia. ANY ban on any weapon right up to nukes would violate the PLAIN MEANING of the operative clause of the 2nd amendment (according to the smartest folks around), so of Kuci is correct.

                  BTW, couldnt, say, a bag of marijuana be used as a weapon?
