And what should it be called until then? I, for one, have taught my children the correct names for their body parts from the get-go.

Me too. Why just the other day my daughter saw me on the toilet and said to mommy, I see daddy's meat hammer.

And that's all well and good. YOU did that. With YOUR kids.

This is about what's done in/by the school, which is another matter.

Not bad, especially considering that chegitz is fat and I'm not. However, you have now thoroughly insulted me by the very suggestion that chegitz and I are connected. I will now hunt you down in every thread and spread my joy everywhere you go, just as I do with MOBIUS. We are going to be best pals.

I was hoping more people would chime in using other euphemisms for a woman's love tunnel.

Lots of plays have elements that certain kids can't understand. We read Romeo and Juliet freshman year of high school - and Dante's Inferno senior year - I know there were kids in both classes that didn't get the material but that doesn't mean it wasn't worthwhile to try and appreciate it.

Are you comparing classic works of literature to the Vagina Monologues?

So, we shouldn't teach basic biology in public schools? What exactly should schools teach? 'Cause I ain't havin' no kid if I gots to teach 'em everythin'.

You're right, if the schools don't teach the kids everything then all the kids with stupid parents will be ignorant. We need the government to determine what is best for these parent's kids because they are obviously incapable of doing it themselves. The government should employ intellectual elites to carry out the education...like mactbone. Mactbone demonstrates a clear grasp of what children should know and is well aware of just how stupid most kid's parents are. Remember, the government knows what's best and people like mactbone should be in charge of it.

Good. Lazy parents don't serve kids well.

I thought the purpose of a government was to accomplish goals that an individual cannot - or at least accomplish them in a better manner.

If the point of school is to babysit your kid while you're at work, then by golly, I'm sorry I didn't know that. Nice to know you agree to let the government spend money on babysitters while you home school your children after work.

Government is incapable of doing anything better than the individuals and the private sector. This has been proven over and over again. Government's role is to enforce laws and provide defense for the nation.

Public schools are already that way and they are run by a bunch of liberal idiots. In fact, the very reason they have become nothing more than giant daycares is because of liberal idiots who have taken it upon themselves to enact all their feel good policies. Again, government is nothing more than an overbloated, inefficient beaurocracy that has overstepped its boundaries. Government needs severe and drastic reduction which I feel at this point it is impossible.
