      Allergies Around the World

With the return of fair weather, the pollen count in California has exploded. Everyone I know is hacking and coughing and sniffling. This whole town sounds like one big tuberculin ward.

      What's it like elsewhere?

Allergies can't be too bad in Canada because...let's face it, who's allergic to snow?

What about in the tropics? I lived in Hawaii for a year, and I don't remember massive outbreaks of pollen-caused allegies.

Hayfever is tremendously worsened by pollution for some reason. I suffered terribly in Manchester, then as soon as I moved to Wales it cleared up and hasn't been back since (and I now live city centre).

This hot weather really sucks. I'm all set to go to Canada for a ski vacation. Weather forecast says temps will be rising, hitting 13C by the time I get there. Crazy weather.

Wow, woke up by a severe hailstorm and 60mph gusts, now we're not getting above 3c for a week . Oh and for you Canadians there's windchill too but only wimps include that.

Yeah, the weather has still continued to be very pleasant. I heard whispers that there could even be snow today, but it looks damn unlikely...

damn 90's this week!! Unbelievable. Surely this is proof of global warming.

I'm pretty sure we broke several records. Phoenix was at 99F
