Ever heard of the Sedition act?
Is that really what you want to use to defend the Registration Act? A blatantly unconstitutional act that led to the fall of the Federalists from power in the elections of 1800 and something Congress repeatedly apologized for.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

On second thought, no.
But it is a good ole American Tradition.
And the Registration Act is the right way forward for America.
Today, you are the waves of the Pacific, pushing ever eastward. You are the sequoias rising from the Sierra Nevada, defiant and enduring.

So was the internment of Japanese Americans. Just because we have a history of giving too much power to the government in times of crisis doesn't justify it or mean that such behavior should be held above the ideals of what America is supposed to be. It also sure as hell doesn't render those ideals "irrelevent."

You know as well as I do that Stark should be rotting in jail for what he's done.

You were *****ing and moaning before the series moved forward one issue. Your whole spiel is that "It's okay to dress up and whale the **** out of another guy, so long as you have powers."
Jesus, COPS are held accountable to the Law. Why not Superheroes?

So? That doesn't change you *****ing and moaning about the audacity to register costumed goons with super powers who were running around beating the crap out of each other. Before JMS and Jurgans got their crazy liberal hands on Frontline and ASM/FF

Alright. Here's a quote from Captain America: Most 18 year olds [refering to selective service] haven't made enemies of the Green Goblin. Gwen Stacey died because a psychopath knew who Spider-Man was under the mask.
The White Tiger found his entire family brutally mudered after his identity was exposed. The USAgent's parents were gunned down by terrorists after his name was made public.
Come on, Tony. Ultron, the Mad Thinker, Dr. Doom, Machinesmith. We have dozens of enemies who copuld hack a government database without breaking a sweat.
But even if they couldn't --- Governments come and go. I had to become Nomad and later The Captain when certain politicians decided they didn't like the way I operated
You don't know who could get elected. How public sentiment might change. I'm old enough to remember Japanese Americans because they were judged a threat to public safety.

Why would I trust the government when they've already proven themselves untrustworthy during the Operation Zero Tolerance action?

So your answer is...just let a bunch of loons run around with no regulations?

"Capitalism ho!"
So that's your answer? Let a bunch of untrained loons who are not legally accountable for anything to run around beat the snot out of other costumed loons who just so happened to rob a bank?

I already saw that. And they only thing you need to know about Colbert is that his favored D&D class is a Paladin, so you already know he's Lawful-stupid
