Leftist youth groups conduct street battles with police in Copenhagen
A group that calles themselves "Drunk for Ungdomshuset" says that they will drink for a "just world". The group writes that they will drink with everyone because "the more drinking there is, the more it will help". More on their homepage http://drukforfred.nu/ungdomshuset/

You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo
I find it hilarious that you folks think you are so defeated since you lose one building. There will be another building that does much the same.
Although I think that many fundy Christians aren't that smart, I don't think they are so dumb as to think that this will appreciably stop or slow the left/alternative movement.
Sure its not the end or anything. I was the fundies themselves who claimed this as a victory. Of course there will be new houses, the people cannot be defeated.

well it is a victory-- They got the house they wanted to buy-- a pure investment speculator would also see it as a victory.
But people buy stuff for lots of reasons. My uncle bought the neighboring house because there were all sorts of drug-dealing going on there by the kids that lived there.
The seller was the occupant"s mom. He tore down the house

And just why do you think they wanted to buy that place in the first place? Come on, this was their plan all along. Making money and speculating is just a clever excuse that most people buy in to.

It was a victory of sorts, but that doesn't make it political. Again, that's possible, but I haven't seen anything that demonstrates that.
As Flubber said, fundies have a habit of declaring anything they like as a victory of/for God, and anything they don't like as the work of Satan.

yup
Anyone that thinks lefty/alternative thought goes away because you buy a house is stupid beyond belief. It is an idiotic unrealistic impractical tactic.
Yet some leftys think that some Christian employed it. I am not quite sure what THAT says about the respective groups

According to the information I have seen, they got it realy cheap. If someone is willing to put up with some political crap ( and fundies must be used to that) there may be a lot of money to be made

Right, and that pure investment speculator would find it really hard to find any contractors willing to risk their business to built anything there let alone anyone insane enough to rent offices to be firebombed.
Your example of your Uncle only demonstrates that you treat these young as somekind of drug dealers. Very nice.
It amazing how people really believe that the cultists were in there for profit opportunities. I simply dont think they have the capacity for that. This was 100% political move from the cultists.

That may be so. I don't know. It's certainly possible.
Even if it WAS the case, so? It may be that this cult is a bunch of *******s. They sound like they are. So? Sounds like the hippie activists were too, by my reading of events.
