judging by your avatar, you don't need to be insecure of your sexual preferences.

Isn't she a bit old now?

She doesn't look that old, but she probably is.

                Indeed she had

Incidentally - that movie was titled "Bossen og Bumsen" in Denmark. That translates to something like "The Boss and the Bum"

I like Trading Places better, for the double meaning of the title.

There rumor is that Jamie Lee Curtis has the genetic code of a man, but she didn't develop the male sex organs (in the womb) so basically she's a woman by most standards. Something like that. I can't remember the specifics since it's been a few years since I heard about it.

                      Yeah, I remember that too.

She's pretty good looking, but not really to my taste. I wouldn't call her ugly, or lacking in curves...

No need to feel that way-- You won't feel the same way about everyone as people sharing your preference.

Only feel insecure about your preceived sexuality if you start feeling attracted to the gender OTHER than the one to which you are typically attracted.

Well, I heard about the condition in Psych (not really clear on why though...) and the Prof said that some famous actress had it. Some other people in the class said JLC and nobody offered anyone else up. Maybe the other people read it in the Enquirer though.

Actually, the rumor (which surfaced on the Web in about 1997) is that she was born a hermaphrodite (intersexual). This can include simple XXY genetic status, or may present with both male and female genitalia.

There seems to be no definitive answer to her sexual status. Some claim to have seen evidence in here birth files at Cedars-Sinai, others point out that her two kids are adoptive, and some claim that her gender-neutral name indicates that her final gender was inconclusive at birth. But it appears that this is pretty much a celebrity myth that persists due to a lack of direct evidence either way.

Her mother (Janet Leigh) has been outspoken against the rumor. Jamie Lee herself declines to "dignify" questions on the topic. Cecil Adams addressed the topic in The Straight Dope, but I don't subscribe.

She is married to producer/actor/musician Christopher Guest.

Here's a link to a reasonably even-handed story on the topic.

                                From Snopes...

This rumor is often lent credibility by people who have heard it repeated as fact by their university professors (especially those with specialties relating to intersexuality). Neither the hearer nor the teller ever seems to be able to provide a credible explanation of how he knows this piece of information to be true, the chain of transmission always tracing back to the notoriously unreliable "Someone else told me about it." As happens over and over, even the most trusted of sources can sometimes take a widespread rumor at face value, then parrot it as fact.
