I long for the old days when we used to celebrate Washington's Birthday instead. It makes sense to celebrate Washington.
But why are we now also celebrating Millard Fillmore? Buchanan? McKinley? Garfield? Hoover? Nixon??? -
Because we're also celebrating Jefferson, Polk, Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Reagan.
