I was about 80% done with a jar from teh evil Lot #2111. No salmonella.
Had another jar in the cupboard. Destroyed the former, returned the latter.

So I can state with confidence that that I'M not going to die from teh tainted ConAgra Peter Pan.

Korn, just take it back to the store and get it replaced.
Continuing to eat it would be kinda dumb.
    Unless you're into that...

Well, if you aren't that old (>60) you should worry more about the excess calories instead of the salmonella .

The lemon makes the gel clear and the product is made in Mauritania.

Excess lemons are nessecary to produce citric acid.

Peanut butter is a major target of the anti-trans-fat group, but it's really a poor target. Anyone who would normally consider not eating organic peanut butter almost certainly eats enough trans fats without their peanut butter that the tiny amount that's in the peanut butter won't have any effect on their health.

                        According to the USDA,
This means that a 32-gram serving of any of the 11 brands could contain from zero to a little over three-thousandths (0.0032) of a gram of trans fats without being detected.

So, if you eat a single french fry (other than Wendy's), eat a single cookie from any one of most major brands of packaged cookies, or eat a candy bar pretty much anywhere, you're likely eating a jar of PB's worth of trans-fat.
