What ever your opinion, it is not acceptable etiquette for you to call me ugly to my face. It is unfriendly, and may lead to an unfriendly response on my part.

Saying stuff like "You're ugly too " is a common courtesy of poking fun at someone while saying "I didn't mean to insult".


Conclusion: unless we're old friends, if you imply that I'm ugly without the appearance of a friendly poke - I'll take it as an intentional insult, and react accordingly.
