BTW, the term "Ivy League" only refers to a group of private schools in the North East. It's a geographical description as much as it is an academic one. They're all very good schools, but there are some non-Ivy league schools that are better than some of the lesser Ivys. Schools such as U of Chicago, Stanford, Duke, and Vanderbilt are not Ivy League schools, but they're superior to Ivys such as Brown and Dartmouth.
