No. Never finishing a story arc EVER, killed LOST.

Placing cliffhanger after cliffhanger and NEVER delivering killed LOST.

The half-season has not bothered Monk or Psych or BSG. Two of those series have run longer than LOST has.

I don't think it was the half-season format that killed LOST. I think it was the writters.

It was a little loose for my taste. Mobsters and other secret societies have been "putting" people in the White House for decades.

What intrigues me more is his rather detailed knowledge of peoples abilities. It's not just that they are "special" but he knows WHAT each person can do. And apparently has for some time. Or, at least, what Nathan and Peter and Issak can do.

Ooh, quick question: do you think Peter can heal faster than Sylar can kill him? Does his aquisition of power work the same as the power? I mean, even if Sylar does kill him will he heal like Claire can? So is Sylar going to be destined to fight Peter no matter what? And, If Sylar does aquire Peter's ability will all the aquired abilities come with it? Are they now "part" of Peter or just learned like a new laguage?

I gotta make a video and post it on NBC.

He's a mob boss. You'd be amazed how often a "series of fluke occurances" happen to them. It's like they have some kind of probability-influencing powers.

That'd also be useful as someone who runs a casino, now that I think about it.

In any case, I saw the thing with Grandma Petrelli coming. My biggest question was whether her husband is actually dead or if he's still around hiding from AWI. I suspect he was probably one of the people in charge, along with Linderman, Hiro's dad, and Simone's father.

        Yeah, the break sucks.

        • You can be a mob boss and have power over 'fluke occurances' but still not know a fairly tight timeline. He was pretty damned certain about it all.

Acquired; his first acquired, actually. His natural ability seems to be being able to see "how things work," hence the watch making and seeing how to acquire others' powers.

That she knew or that she was with the Haitian?

We've known she knew, she talked about it with Nathan when he tried to pay-off the mom. (BTW, what happened to her?)

He's dead. Well, he's supposed to be dead. Nathan used his funeral to "out" Peter for something (I forget right now). He was killed for crossing Linderman, that's one of the reasons Nathan wants to take down Linderman.

I didn't know Simone's father had anything to do with anything. When did this happen? Was he "in-place" to keep an eye on Peter? Discover what his powers were or something?

The Haitian, along with the anti-Company.

That's the story, but given the people involved, it wouldn't be farfetched to think that their father went into hiding, complete with fake funeral, after Linderman tried to have him killed. Just seems like the kind of thing these writers would do...

A whole lot has happened on the roof of the building he owned, including when Hiro's dad gave Claire to Bennet. To me, this implies that he was involved.

                  • Good point. I wonder how significant that roof is. Will they donate it to the Smithsonian after the "heros" save the world?
