I believe it's more about time periods. Anthropology studies ancient or dead societies and civilizations, while Sociology studies the present society.

Physical talents/skills are a different ballgame and really have no bearing on intelligence. For example, I think the average NBA and NFL players have an IQ in the mid 50s.

I think it's a bit stupid to infer intelligence from how much money somebody makes, but even more stupid to infer intelligence by how well they can grunt and protect the QB from a sack.

That said, there is a correlation in intelligence between your average engineering grad and your average philosophy or history grad...take a look at the average admittance averages for each program, for instance.

Or even anecdotal evidence. People like Ned, Fez, Agathon, GePap, etc. are all arts guys.

for nfl players they must attend college in some capacity before they can play in the pro leagues. smart enough to know they need to do some small amount of work right?

it is a requirement. and regardless if you look at some idiotic college football players that threw away millions despite being hugely talented you realize that they have to play a game that makes them sacrifice their pride in many respects.

regardless of that whole aside, i thought it was just funny kh would say that intelligence is related to income.

i think the better inference is that unique skills that are better than other's within a limited pool of talent is what leads to higher income and whether that talent is prized by society.
