  • They used to be mine....

List here your treasures which have gone missing. Me:

A baseball signed by the legendary Gil Hodges, that I stood in line for what seemed like hours in the hot desert sun to get him to sign.

The Avalon Hill game of "Gettysburg." (It was one of the first, if not the first, game to use "hex" squares.) My parents trashed it while I was away at college.

The second comic book in which Antman (later Giantman) appeared. I noticed it missing shortly after showing it to some friends.

I got frustrated in Lancer's "Show & Tell" thread because I no longer have most of my really cool stuff and so can't show it.

I regret turfing my comic book and hockey card collections. I was a kid and didn't know they would become valuable.

I mean . .. how much could a complete set of 1977 Montreal canadian cards be worth?

A whole mess of very good condition X-Men comics from the 2nd incarnation of the Xmen, including the Phoenix saga. I bought them from someone's little brother. My little brother sold them.

You mean it was a £1 coin?
