    Define Intelligence.

    Define intelligence for me.

    Imo, intelligence is logic and ''instinct''. Nothing else.

    Being able to remember 2058 numbers, for me, is an ability. Like Micheal Jordan's ability in Basket ball. Knowing 2053 poems by heart or every date and story of every war, imo, is the same thing. Yes, it makes you very cultivated, but it doesn't make you intelligent.

    Logic is about making associations, links and figuring out what the problem/solution is. For an animal, logic is what defines their intelligence, I think its the same for humans.

    Its the power to adapt.

      Logic and instinct are at separate ends of the spectrum. How can you link them?

          I did not say instinct, but ''instinct''. There is a term in french I know of, but I dont know how to translate it.

                          Surely logic. Structural thinking ability, abstract thinking ability, spatial thinking ability. Basically you can adapt to any situation that requires intelligence, setting don't matter.

                          A kind of a renessaince man. Not just a trick of trades, but real ability to adapt into any situation, that would require the usage of brain power.
