But Spec has a point also, when you have money, you have more power and you can dominate easier, that is, you can pre-empt others chances getting where you are, plus you can abuse that power easily.

There is a problem of .. this is pretty difficult to abolish, because you'd have to settle the problem of people deserving the fruits of their work. It can not be directed heavily from the top, because that is.. well, we know what that is.

CO, tell me about it. Our future PM didn't even finish .. grades after grade 10(?), meaning when you turn 16.. he went straight into politics. No, he wasn't a genius. He was interested in it, and he still is stupid and sucks.

So yeah.. GPA is grade point average. I just think it's meaningless. All that should matter is the actual work you do, that is thesis. You still can surf through the whole school, so I'd take a look at the final work. Because we still have people, a lot of people, who don't know the difference between for example qualitative and quantitative research. Or, for example, how you are actually supposed to conduct research.

We got people, a lot of people, who can get through the courses and they think this is what it's all about. Passing courses. It's not about getting an education, I mean thinking that courses equals education is pretty narrow thinking. They get out of the school and don't know what they can do. I don't mean, that they don't know what they SHOULD do, because there are so many things to choose from, but they don't actually know what they can really do. That should be alarming. M.Sc degree is not supposed to be 'general education' that gives you some basics, so you can later on learn something. That's what minor is for.
