I gave some criticism towards the US version of The Office, but it was mostly because they did the same episodes, and I thought the original ones were a bit better. I still stick to this claim, of course it is my opinion only.
However, I must say, that the show has really gotten its own wings now and it has passed the original series by now in my opinion. The developments in characters have gone really well, and the dynamics just works. By no means do I think Michael the Manager is the best character, or even third best. But the combo is good, I really think Dwight is awesome, he is soooo good. I also like how they come up with the new episodes, since they're doing a lot of shows, I think they have managed to keep the level up, plus bring in some interesting new things.
I liked the way they brought new characters from Stanford, and I like the whole Jan thing, as well as the warehouse. I think it has a lot of depth now, and I can't say enough about Dwight, it's pure genius. Also the relationship between Dwight and Angela, that's just too funny
