  • Ryszard Kapuscinski has died

I usually don't trouble You with deaths of polish greats, but he was, like Lem (a thread about whom was created by someone else anyway), was quite reknown in the world, so here it goes.
He was perhaps the most reknown polish journalist.
I am too lazy to write about him, here goes.

info about his death (in polish)
Wybitny polski pisarz i dziennikarz Ryszard Kapuściński zmarł we wtorek w warszawskim szpitalu Banacha. Autor znanych na całym świecie książek pt. 'Wojna futbolowa', 'Cesarz', 'Szachinszach' , 'Imperium', 'Heban' i 'Lapidarium' miał 74 lata.

                He was a great writer.

I loved his work on the Shah and Haile Selassie.
