I'd hate to wear that thing in the desert. It's gonna need some kind of AC.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Of course, the more intelligent of us would have noticed I flat out said it resembled the Halo armor in the title. They further would have noticed that:

The whole suit -- which draws design inspiration from Star Wars, RoboCop, Batman and video games -- is made from high-impact plastic lined with ceramic bullet protection over ballistic foam.

Of course, I have a vague recollection of you being a semantics whore and claiming to be a scientist while still in college(vice accepting the common usage of the term "scientist") so I shouldn't have expected you to make the connection. And for that, I apologize.

          You're being stupid.

          1) You do not need to have a B.Sc. to be a scientist
          2) I have one anyway

Then don't wander into threads I create in twice as many days with the clear intent to take a swipe at me.

            1) You do not need to have a B.Sc. to be a scientist
I know you don't. Now, if you were to ask the average slob on the street what one of the qualifications were of being a scientist they would say "have a degree". Why? Because it's the best way to determine if you are qualified. And that is a damned reasonable assumption. IIRC (and I got tired of wading through the pages of Asher + scientist on the search function) you trotted out the definition:

an expert in science, esp. one of the physical or natural sciences.
Of course, in our society one of the determining factors in "expertness" is your qualifications. Which, at the time you made that statement, you still had not acquired your B.Sc.. Hence the perception of weaselhood I got from you.

            2) I have one anyway
Which is not germane to my comment, which was:

Which is still inaccurate, I was never in college.

Stop being a semantical bully, it's never a fun game.

Then I apologize, I was using college in the colloquial American English for "4-year(+) University"...I don't know if that replicates well in Canada.

                Fine, the matter is dropped.

This thread went off-topic in a really lame way.

                    If the military

won't buy it, I'm sure a crew of bank robbers will.

they won't even buy armor for the humvees, no way the U.S. would flip the bill for this one. Maybe the Canadians will.

We would never fight wars in the desert. Most of our equipment is still designed for european warfare.

It looks a bit overengineered. What's the advantage of a magnetic holster over a normal one?
