I think that it is gayer to be the 'top' or what have you. You are the one being being the penetrator.

So the bottom is less gay. What think you?

Being the one pentrated puts one in the female role - the submissive role. (of course those labels and stereotypes demonstrate the uncomfortable inequality of the sex act itself among straight folks, but that is as nature intended it so I can't complain too much I suppose). Anyways, by assuming the female/submissive role, the bottom is definitely the gayer of the two.

Since masculinity for the most part (though with some notable exceptions) isn't a hallmark of "gayness".
