I'm raising the stakes. I'm shopping around, when I have absolutely no real options left. I've decided to go for the medical thing instead, and keep the security as a hobby of mine, and just for now, go for serious business.
So, what I'm doing now is that I'm shopping to get better position. I've sent my request to have some help with the deal I'm making. What I'm really doing is 'I want more'. So not only do I want to be paid, monthly salary, and possibility to go for PhD straight after graduation (already in my pocket), I'm looking to have some kind of setting where I can be promised to work in the next possible assignment that would be abroad. So I want to do that as well, and possibly an option to study one year in great school as well. I want to do research in Japan for, maybe like a summer, and study in great school in the US for a year. While getting paid the whole time, and getting my PhD from it.
Because if they can promise me this, it's too sweet to pass. In other words, I'm shopping here, and I'm not demanding anything. I want them to help me to figure out my possibilities. There's a difference.
So I'll have a meeting later this week. Wish me luck. Because if I get my way.. I mean I can't think of a sweeter deal
