I think that one of them most ineffective and useless ways of utilizing the DP is done in the States. Why is this? Because, it takes years to execute someone, so what's the point?
An argument is made, that it's a deterrent. Yeah, well, with this rate, who is afraid to die? We need to speed it up.
I say, if you want working DP, let's have one of those special days, when we just clean the whole deathrow at once. Saves money, and works better as a deterrent. You knwo you will die pretty damn soon too. Let's add some methods of dying. I don't know why they criminal has the right to 'choose the way they die'. Is that nobel? They're going to die, period, it doesn't matter, there's no humanitarian value in 'ok but we'll let you choose, face or the balls'.
So, let's make it a deterrent. How about they'll be injected some sleeping drugs, so they'll fall asleep and we smash them to small pieces by using rocks. Why not? It's not like they feel any more pain when it's done like that. But it feels like a bad idea to them, so it's a deterrent.
