    Large flat screens

    Well, my boss has forced me to use a Dell 2408WFP screen to improve my efficiency, but while it solves the problem with LordShiva posting wide pics, it isn't that big come to gaming.

    Current testing gives that SMAC/X and Civx sucks seriously due to bad grapics and SimCityxxx, RedAlert, Imerium Galactica and Incubation actually are improved.


    Any of you guys that have a solution to my problem ?

    Well Civ4 can do widescreen resolutions. I guess SMAC/X can't then?

      Yeah, that migth be, but my damn VC can't handle CivIV

          Well, I find it nice that I can get a larger view - even in zoom in, but what bothers me most is the crappy resolution. Am I forced to reduce resolution (1920x1200) ?

          I know that my problem largely is aesthetical, but there are a limit for me how gross a game can be despite it's fun.

            Actually, I find it quite good that Tanyas boobs are shown in a natuar view - no doubt, RA2 has done it best - just can't wait to see the liutenant half dressed (I'm allowed to such since I an old fart ).

              Woo. Just got my new 20.1" widescreen. Loving it. Never having to scroll to the right is so nice. I'd love a 24" Dell, but sadly a little out of my price-range. Plus might be a little too big - 1680x1050 resolution is enough for me.
